Kosher Australia

Kosher Australia has been certifying food products and food services since 1968 in the Asia Pacific region. Their products and services support the full spectrum of the food industry from manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers to caterers, restaurants and consumers.

Kashrut Authority

The KA is the kashrut-licensing arm of the Sydney Beth Din and the Yeshiva Rabbinate. The KA is administered by a Board of Management which includes 5 Rabbis from the Sydney Beth Din and the Yeshiva Rabbinate, and up to 5 Lay members. Halachic matters are determined by the Rabbinic arm of the group.

Medical Emergency

In a medical emergency, the first few minutes are critical and can make all the difference. Hatzolah responders are trained by Ambulance Victoria and are equipped with oxygen and semi automatic defibrillators. When seconds count, Hatzolah has saved lives.

Bereavement

Melbourne Chevra Chadisha’s role is to assist those whom have suffered a loss. They assist and give advice to the bereaved as well as work with hospitals and cemeteries to ensure the deceased is cared for according to Jewish customs. Their presence in Melbourne gives great comfort to our community.
